Work Experience  

2012 – 2014      Forestry Extension Agent

Collaborated with the Zambian Forestry Department under Zambia’s Ministry of Lands, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection. Focused on empowering rural community members to improve their food security in ways that conserve natural resources. Worked as Forest extension agent while promoted agroforestry technologies, soil and water management practices as well improved gardening techniques in small scale farming system. This in addition to, building the capacity of community members to generate additional household income. United States Peace Corps, Chilongoshi, Zambia

 

2014 – 2016     Peace Corps Volunteer Leader

Worked directly under the Peace Corps - Zambian Country Director. Worked as a liaison between volunteers and Peace Corps administration. Collaborated with Peace Corps Zambian administration on supply and vehicles movements and program scheduling. Organized and collaborated meetings with Zambian government Ministries and Departments and Peace Corps volunteers. Worked and collaborated with volunteers on grants and sustainable projects those were implemented in both Zambian villages and cities. Personal Development

2009 – 2010     Study Abroad Student, Lived a full year in Guilin China and studied listening, speaking, writing and grammar skills in the mandarin language, while living with other foreign students.
